At last weekend’s Leinster Juvenile Relays in Gowran United Striders had 6 teams competing. The club struck gold in U16 Boys as the quartet of Darragh Flannelly, Ben Wall, Aidan Shannon and Myles Hewlett took the Leinster title. And such is the club’s strength in depth at this age that they had sufficient fire-power to also take 3rd and 5th places. The club had two teams in the Boys U14 race, one placing 3rd, the other 5th. Their Girls U16 team were 12th.
