At last Friday’s Wexford Juvenile ‘B’ T&F evening, the general vibe was very chilled with the emphasis very much on appreciating and enjoying the fun side of athletics.
Over the years, club officials and parents have commented on how much they enjoy the occasion. And so it was again this time round. Arguably the most notable and laudable fact of this much-loved meet is that, with the pressure off, children are inclined to run, jump and throw as good as they ever would AND have a whole heap of fun in the process. This one is a keeper!
